Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center

The training program in Pediatric Surgery at Vicente Sotto Memorial medical Center is a two-year fellowship program fully accredited by the Philippine Society of Pediatric Surgeons. The program is intended for general surgeons who have completed a full residency in general surgery and who wish to pursue a career in Pediatric Surgery. The program officially started in January 2020. The vision of the training program is to be a premier pediatric surgical care provider in Visayas and the rest of the Philippines in terms of service, training and research. The mission of the training program is to provide quality and ethical surgical services to children, maintain excellent standards of training future Pediatric Surgeons and to conduct relevant innovations in the field of Pediatric Surgery. Pediatric Surgery Fellowship is on LEVEL 1 status.
